This product is a collaboration between myself, Son Fish Sauce, and Vitano. It is an effort to support fair trade Vietnamese Queen Pineapple Farmers. This project helps farmers reclaim the acidic soil as a result of collapsed agriculture (and infrastructure to support it) in South Vietnam. Simultaneously, offering farmers a co-op, profit-sharing model for their business. Not only are these pineapples ethical and sustainable. But they are amazingly delicious, with beautiful aromas, intense flavor, and naturally sweet.
